Druzy, or druze, is a natural growth of tiny crystals formed over millions of years on the surface of another stone. It glitters as the light bounces off all the different surfaces of the tiny crystals, so it's much more exciting in real life than in a still photo! This glamourous chunk of natural undyed agate druze is mounted on a soft leather cord with sterling silver and is incredibly sparkly.

The druzy is from Brazil and is cut by an independent stone cutter in the UK. As the stone is unpolished, you can bring the sides and reverse back to translucency with occasional light oiling with mineral oil (wiping away the excess with a soft cloth) if they begin to look a little tired. The sparkling front surface won't need any oiling due to the naturally smooth sides of the tiny crystals.
