The freeform Botswana agate in this necklace feels smooth and slightly matte, cool to the touch but quickly warming to body temperature. The necklace is pleasantly weighty without being too heavy or dragging on the neck. The agate druzy centrepiece sparkles as the light catches all the tiny facets of the natural crystals that started life as a geode under the earth. The intensely-coloured small phosphosiderite beads highlight the mauve tones in the Botswana agate. The necklace is strung on a coated steel wire for strength, and finished with a handmade sterling silver clasp.
