A beautiful piece of ocean jasper is the focus of this design, resting between warm carnelian nuggets that tone with its rust coloured inclusions. The chain is handmade link by link, and it’s oxidised to set off the dark areas of the stone and add substance and balance to the piece. Earthiness and authenticity were themes in my design process for this necklace and its twin, which you can see here.
