This bold necklace in beautiful autumnal hues is made with ocean jasper, red coral and haematite, strung on coated steel wire for strength and finished with a handmade clasp in recycled sterling silver.

The red coral is repurposed from a vintage necklace of at least around 60 years old, before there was any issue with coral sustainability (for avoidance of doubt, there is no legal problem with using and reselling coral in this way).

The ocean jasper is cut by hand by a UK craftsman and left with a matte textured finish. As it's unpolished, you can bring the jasper back to its full splendour with occasional light oiling with mineral oil (wiping away the excess with a soft cloth) if it begins to look dull or slightly “chalky”.
