This sterling silver hallmarked bangle is cast from an imprint of a seedhead gathered from a wild plant growing by chance in my garden. I assemble, solder and hand-finish each bangle myself. I’ve deliberately left the surface texture on the seedhead design looking slightly weathered and "ungroomed", to reflect the natural honesty and spontaneous character of the plant, and the way it is so much a part of the earth that sustains it. This contrasts with the smooth finish of both the bar that it’s mounted on and the adjustable length chain. The chain is finished with a hollow cast sterling silver bead secured by a tiny handmade spiral.
